Comfort and Convenience in a Medieval Tower

Our room, with its spectacular view of the Arno, was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and spacious. There were chairs to sit by the windows - which opened so we could get a sense of the temperature outside and let the evening breeze in. It was quiet, the bed comfortable, the marble bathroom spacious. We asked for a coffee maker in the room and the helpful staff promptly brought a Nespresso machine. Breakfast on the terrace, with its own spectacular views, was delightful. The upper roof terraces were a delightful spot for a coffee or a drink. The location is ideal for exploring Florence on foot and the entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to be helpful. We will return!

From the initial booking to the hotel stay it was perfect. The rooftop terrace and the wonderful staff serving, the hotel advice re restaurant bookings and things to see was outstanding and delivered in such a friendly manner. I would stay nowhere else when back in Florence!!! And would pray to get my beyond beautiful room overlooking the Arno once again. I was granted an upgrade without even asking. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The service is OUTSTANDING, including room service and breakfast (which is extremely generous and delicious and offers amazing views) and also concierge. Location is unbeatable: on the river, on one of the mist lovely piazzas in Florence and Via Tornabuoni is by any account the mist elegant shopping street in the world. Plus you are no more than a 10’ walk from all manor sights. But what makes Antiche Torre unique is it’s style and understated Florentine elegance. The decor is traditional but light, flawlessly tasteful and imaginative. A welcome break from all the loud, statement/branding the hotel industry offers these days. This place is discreet, romantic and LOVELIEST! Tantissime grazie!

The absolute best part of our stay is the hotel had umbrellas for us to use. Blazing heat and rain, this small but unique feature made our whole stay so much more enjoyable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Antica Torre Tornabuoni in Florence.
