"I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year."
"Our room 172 was clean, spacious and included an en-suite walk in shower.
Breakfast included English style cooked , yogurt & berries, cereals, fruits, toast with all jams, marmite and honey.
mini pastries were also available.
We ate in the dining room and from the bar menus.
Staff were very professional, kind and gave service with a smile. To note Mel from the Spa was fantastic, we had x2 full hour treatments each "

"What a gem of a place. Everything was spotless, the room was lovely and one of the best things was the room had a small fridge for fresh milk, rather than those awful pots of uht you get everywhere now. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked with lots of choice. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Very friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble."

"On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down....
