The location is so good. The train station is 20m away trom where you can travel easily with train to destinations like Lagos, Albuteira, lavira, Olhau,... Also some very nice rooftop restaurants and bars are just 5 min away.
The whole staff at the receiption was very kind and its VERY CLEAN! The price-cost-ratio is top!
The place was kept extremely clean.
The stools in the kitchen were very uncomfortable, and i couldn't figure out the stove top. Some instructions would have been helpful.
Very clean and updated rooms. Very quiet, but likely due to the cooperation of other considerate guests. My room was in their "annex." It is on the same block on the northeast corner of the block while the main entry address is on the southwest corner of the block. Not very hard to figure out. Conveniently across the street from the train station.
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and efficient. The private shower room down the corridor needed some maintenance and our room being near the front door was sometimes noisy. The location was good and the experience more than satisfactory. We were grateful for the ear defenders to reduce disturbing noise from the busy road and other guests.
Excellent location, very clean. Had great amenities, stocked kitchen. Close to everything - across from the train station was very convenient. Would stay here again!
Location was hard to find with Google maps. Even local Police officeris could direct me correctly. Otherwise a good stay in typical small hotel room jn city centre.
As a solo female traveler, I take feeling safe very seriously and during my stay at Leevin Guesthouse, I felt very safe and secure. I was using the train to get to/from Faro and this guesthouse is perfect for train, bus and air travel, across the road from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal, 10 mins from the ferry terminal.
I was checked in by a lovely young man from Brazil, I apologize for not getting his name, he was friendly and very efficient showing me my room and telling me about the property and giving lots of recommendations.
My room (Verde Suite) was extremely comfortable and I appreciated the amenities, comfy bed and couch and a great shower, plenty hot water and nice plush towels.
The kitchen was well equipped and having space in the fridge was a great perk. It was clean and tidy, tables and chairs to sit and eat food at. I enjoyed the outside tables but my favourite was the rooftop terrace, I enjoyed several evenings sat up there enjoying the sunset and being able to sit up there after dark with comfy furniture and lighting.
There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores close to the guesthouse and a very clean laundromat 2 mins away, that cost €7 to wash and dry a load and that included the detergent and softener.
My only complaint was that other guests are not always considerate of others, that's no fault of the guesthouse. It would be nice to have hall lights on a timer as people didn't turn the lights off at night.
