"We had a great 3 night stay at Guest Mar. The staff were super friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious and it was very handy to be able to use the kitchen throughout the day. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Space was a bit tight in our room, but it was workable. We made use of the shared spaces - rooftop, kitchen and reading room. All in all a lovely guesthouse."

"We had an amazing stay at Vila Milreu! We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived really late. The staff are brilliant and extremely friendly. The hotel is gorgeous, especially the pool area. The grounds are beautiful. The whole hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and filling with plenty of different foods to choose from. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in an excellent location in a quiet area but also near the train station and the town. The hosts Cláudia and Luis have put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with freshly baked bread, homemade jam and good quality coffee. "We loved our room the studio suite. So clean and cute! The kitchen very nice as well as both table set up very nicely. Only drawback for me was I am a vegan and there were no milk options for coffee. Some fruit but the pastries always looked so good. Fresh rolls were vegan and good. My husband and I did have trouble walking so far 2 times a day into old town for both lunch and dinner. We are getting old and were tired from 2 months of heavy walking in Lisbon. "Wonderful place to stay. Chantale et Jean Paul very sweet, welcoming, extremely helpful and attentive. Truly a boutique hotel in best sense of the word. An oasis in the area of quiet, calm, peaceful garden with fruit trees, replete with an excellent cat. Breakfast superb!! Healthy even with fruit from the garden with something specially home made every morning. A high point of our trip. Shower excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
