Sauberkeit im Zimmer was gut, aber im Badezimmer hätten so einige Sachen mal gesäubert werden können, die wahrscheinlich schon ewig keinen Putzlappen mehr gesehen haben. "Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. "Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money. There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day. We can highly recommend this hotel."

"Room, bathroom and bedding were very clean. Room had lovely sea views as it was on the 4th floor. There are no lifts so the hotel might not be suitable for the elderly or disabled. The TV didn't work in our room, we were offered a different room but we refused. We were, however, able to watch TV in an unoccupied room. The staff were friendly but quite often nowhere to be seen.
