"Man muss immer die Relation zum Preis betrachten. Das insgesamt hat man zwar Einbußen wegen Renovierungsbedürftigem Hotel, jedoch haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Hotel hat alles was es braucht und die Lage ist super. Auch das Parkplatz Thema ist nicht ganz so schlimm, Abends parkt man im Ort gratis, tagsüber gibt es die Tiefgarage des Ortes welche sehr günstig ist. Ich kann das Hotel daher eigentlich nur weiterempfehlen. "

"Modern hotel with everything you need. Close to the sea front with lovely views. Great pool and gym area and excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Quite a walk into Funchal but worth it!"

"A firm favourite of ours where we’ve stayed 3 times now. Gorgeous hotel, extremely comfortable. Extremely central. Huge pool with plenty of sunloungers (be prepared for expensive day beds and Bali beds). Service at pool and restaurants is friendly if not always efficient. Front desk staff should learn to pretend to be happy for you to be here and change their snooty attitude though. "

"We loved our stay at the Barcelo. The room was very clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable as was the sofa bed which our daughter slept on. There was plenty of room in our room which was the standard basic room for 3 people. We loved the shower as well. The breakfasts were amazing and we really liked how the hotel opened up onto the main street where you could dine. The rooftop had amazing views and the decor and service was fantastic. "We loved staying at the Aqua Natura Bay in Porto Moniz. The infinity pool has an spectacular view of the North side of the island. Rooms were clean, beds and pillow were comfy. Delicious breakfast included. The only thing I would like to point out is the parking limitation. However, they offered to pay for parking outside the hotel property. This property is right across from the aquarium and one of the natural pools. I am definitely planning to stay here next time I visit the Northwest side of...

"Familienurlaub mit 4 Erwachsenen, 10 Tage im Hotel - Fazit: KLASSE! Toller (!) Empfang beim Einchecken, hervorragende Lage mit sehr schönem Blick und schönen, sauberen Zimmern, sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, Abendessen im angeschlossenen Restaurant ebenfalls eine absolute Empfehlung, tolle -zentrale- Lage für Inselausflüge (wir hatten einen Mietwagen), geschultes und sehr aufmerksames Personal… wir waren rundherum sehr (!) zufrieden und kommen bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder!!!"
