"It’s cute for what it is. The receptionist was super friendly. The shower looks like it needs some update or a super clean. The toilet paper roll was almost out when we first entered and there isn’t a spare under the sink. "
"This was my first time staying here and everything was amazing. Checking in was seamless and the gentleman who helped me was friendly and warm. The breakfast both days we stayed was delicious and delivered promptly to our beautiful, comfortable and clean room. But my favorite part was probably the homemade cookies hanging on my door in the afternoon. I want to go back just for those cookies. I can’t wait to stay here again. It is a very special place. "
"Sundown Inn actually has Magic Fingers Vibrating Bed. Invented in 1958 by John Houghtaling which was a1960s stable in hotels/motels. 15 minutes for a quarter. Nice Touch! "
"We had a wonderful stay, the area is absolutely gorgeous. The hotel is quaint in a decent safe area, the rooms are nice, has all you need, the fireplace was really nice and the home made breakfast in the AM a very nice perk to the stay.
Love there is a fire pit area outside for guests also. Quaint, a great stay and the staff was very hospitable, we will be back. Thank you! 😊"
"It was my first time staying here. The Landing at Morro Bay consists of one large building with 3 floors and the Office/Lobby building with 2 or 3 ground level, cottage style units. I was in one of those cottages. Number 111. The front door opened out to a small patio and a view of the water and Morro Rock. The pathway to the Esplanade was just across the street, This is an ideal location! I would definitely stay here again. Very convenient location and friendly staff."
"We loved our stay here. It was very quiet and walkable. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot. There was plenty of vanity space. The room was quite large. The Smart TV allows you to use your subscriptions. The only downside was our refrigerator was set too cold. It froze our food and there was no dial to adjust it down. "
