Highly recommend this hotel... the grounds are beautiful with several little hangout spots built in for your enjoyment. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and very well put together. Even the linens and shower products are very well curated. Excellent stay!

This was a great find! My room was very nice and you can walk to the beach in about 5 minutes. The lady who checked me in, I think her name was Marissa, was very nice. I would definitely return.

The back bungalow was amazing, right next to the fire pit. A private porch area with table and chairs perfect for relaxing, reading and feeling the gentle ocean breeze. We stayed two nights at the Pacific Hotel and had a great experience. Pre-arrival communication was thoughtful, including a text asking for our ETA and the option to have drinks waiting in the room. Check-in was effortless, and room access via phone number was very convenient. Our Standard King room was clean, modern, and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent pillows. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel has a charming boutique vibe with a cozy lobby, outdoor fire pit, complimentary bikes, ping pong table, and an on-site speakeasy bar. Snacks leaned more natural/granola, which may or may not be everyone’s preference. A few minor drawbacks based on convenience and personal preference: no in-room coffee or microwave, a fixed shower head, some wind noise at night, and limited parking if you’re out late. Overall, a lovely stay and a solid choice in Cayucos. We would happily return.

The place was spotless, inside and out. I was joking with the owner letting him know I saw a weed coming up near the ping pong table, there wasn’t. They have a few select local craft beers and some great wine incase you run out and don’t feel like going down into town. We will stay here again for sure.

It’s nicely updated and in walkable distance to the beach, cute shops, and local restaurants. I had a comfortable king size to slumber in. The only thing is that the walls are thin so you can hear the conversations of your neighbors. The latch on my bathroom door didn’t work.

Friendly welcome from Ryan the Surf. Loved the marine/coastal-themed rooms which reminiscent of a design hotel. Some beautiful looking Taschen coffee table books such as the History of Skateboarding and local handsoaps are quality touches in the residences. A quick pint of IPA in the Salty Tiger with a gallimaufry of local characters in tow, led to cracking conversations about viticulture and Ireland and, naturally, more sampling of the draught. Some very cool snapbacks in display throughout. The Pacific Motel has the best branding font I have ever seen on a hotel trucker’s cap. Boom! Just book it.
