"Room was clean, wish the restroom had a fan, but the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the chocolate on the pillows and bottled waters. The staff was very friendly and the common area was also nice to have with a microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator to use. Parking is free after 8pm and Sundays so that was helpful with a Saturday night stay. Quicker to take an Uber to visit Salem in October! Would highly recommend. "

"We stayed in room 134. It wasn’t one of the themed rooms, but it was very modern and clean. It had everything we needed with the exception of a microwave (or at least we couldn’t fine one). That would be my only suggestion - add a microwave. Location is good. It is not downtown. Downtown is walkable, but we had one in our party that has a bad knee, so we drove into downtown and parked in a garage. As it was off season, we didn’t have a problem parking. "This was a very wonderful and relaxing stay for my daughter and I. The staff at the Tavern were top notch and we ended up eating dinner there both nights we stayed. We loved the proximity to everything we wanted to do in the area. Will definitely stay again! "

"It's our second time at Silsbee! We were at the Rajah room the first time, and now at in the Canton room. We loved our stay. Quiet, not in the middle of everything BUT close enough to walk everywhere. The Mercy Tavern near by (3 min walk) is a MUST! Best burgers in town! We had an AC issue on a day of 105, and the owner was very quick and responsive and had good options, although we were able to quickly fix the issue! Breakfast is hold almost in a museum place! "I've been staying at this hotel since 2016. I love the location, the cleanliness. They've done some upgrades! It's always quiet and comfortable. I miss the complimentary beverage they used to have at the front desk. 1 year was apple cider and it was probably the best apple cider I ever had. :) This place is always my first recommendation for anyone thinking to visit, especially if you're thinking of visiting the Salem events in October.
