" I'm disappointed with our recent hotel experience. We booked a relaxing birthday trip for my wife, but the hotel was crowded with unmanaged children and noisy guests. The pool was unmonitored, and my wife was injured by a ball. The staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't manage the crowd effectively. Expected better service from Marriott and plan to raise this issue with them. "

"room was very clean and modern. the only downside was it was a bit dark could do with mirror being near window . breakfast was ok not worth the flat rate we were charged tho. better value eating else where. evening meal was great lots of choice and portions huge. staff were very friendly and helpful. loads of parking spaces for being a large and busy hotel. lovely swimming pool.would definitely stay again"

"Booked through Expedia as a double but we were given a twin. When we asked for a double as per booking the only option was to pay an upgrade fee of £25. Not really the hotel's fault as the information came through incorrectly from Expedia. The double room we received in the end was fine. Food & service for both dinner and breakfast was good. Don't book the breakfast through Expedia though as it is £3 per person cheaper if you pay for it at reception. The surrounding woods are nice for an...

"Everything and all the staff were really great except for The Linden Tree Pub. Absolutely dire meal there. Would advise giving that a big miss. The Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge is absolutely fab for evening meal. We all agreed best meal out ever. Breakfast at Linden Hall Restaurant was great too."
