"If you want to do the sunset and sunrise tours of Tikal I HIGHLY recommend that you all stay at this location. It’s both a hostel and hotel but the amenities are out of this world for being in such a remote location. The rooms are surprisingly modern. The toilets and shower are fabulous. Now be mindful that there is only wifi in 3 areas of the hotel and that the rooms only have fans and not AC. Then again it’s THE BEST location by far of any other hotel. "Staff was very friendly. Benjamin the waiter was very accommodating. Really close to Tikal national park entrance. Con: no outlets to charge your phone. There was one usb outlet but it wouldn’t charge my phone. Pool area is very nice and at sundown you can see the wild life such as monkeys on the trees. "
