First day we ordered food and the fridge wasnt very cold. We told staff but someone never came to look at it.
Everytime my son used the bathroom in the pool area, he slightly got electrocuted. Told staff I don't think they believed him.
Definately got what we paid for and needs to be updated and cleaned up. Definitely some quick landlord type fixes.
It's really terrible customer service and am not have this hotel on my next trip and will advice my friends.

The check in process was easy and quick. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was not a highlight. It was dry cereal, cold eggs, toast and bagels(toaster only toasted one side) and a waffle maker. Bacon or sausage or even hash browns would have been a good addition. The room was very small and very crowded and hard to move around to get to any of the food.

They charge you for early check-in despite the fact that the person is a senior. Seniors over 70 also do not have credit cards and no where is it stated. They refused to check him in until a credit card was provided. And I am here wondering, if I was not with him as his daughter, would they have left him stranded?
Pictures were deceiving, rooms are old and it shows. Rooms had a smell to them (urine, cigarettes & kitty litter) Staff were friendly. If you’re only crashing a night or two I’d say it’s ok for the price.
Breakfast room was cluttered; too many tables set up and the food offered was limited to pickled eggs, toast, yogurt or fruit if you got there in time.
Check in staff was not friendly (though the staff the next morning was!)
Alarming amount of inebriated people hanging around the entrance, lobby and hallways (including at 8am).
Place is decent. You have of all walks of life. Front desk staff are prompt and amazing.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
First, I will never stay here again.
When we checked in, there was a large vomit-like stain in front of the door; clearly, the hall had not been cleaned. When we got into our room, the duvet had a huge blood/mold stain on it.
Went to the front desk and asked for housekeeping to, at a minimum, change the duvet. They said they would be up right away to change it. 30 minutes later I had to go back down to the front desk and ask again; 20 minutes after that a maintenance guy came to the door with a new duvet and just handed it to us, then left.
The next day I spoke with the housekeeping manager who spent a lot of time blaming her staff and trying to explain that some staff were better than others, etc. etc.
I asked her if she would ever put a duvet in that condition on her own bed, and she was very adamant that she would not, but basically dismissed us with more talk about her staff.
The following day I asked to speak with the general manager. I found him at the front desk, and he asked me 'how I was feeling today?" I responded, "I'm not all that happy " his response. YOU WEREN'T HAPPY YOUR LAST STAY, either. I had never complained about the hotel in our previous stays, and starting that way was rude and dismissive.
I asked him to review the notes that were left for him (which he said he hadn't seen) and get back to me. He never did, and later that day, when we went out for the evening, he was in the lobby and said nothing to me as I walked by but did look right at me.

The front desk staff were lovely, but the hotel itself is very dated. Everything feels old and tired. The beds are not good, springs in places sunken in others, the pillows are cheap and worn. The slide was fun but definitely showing its age, the pool is pretty small and gets over crowded fast in the evenings. The included breakfast was basic, cereal toast and the waffles being the highlight but the breakfast room was rather sad. They converted 2 hotel rooms into what is suppose to be a breakfast room for the whole hotel so its crowded all the time.
We booked it last minute and rooms were has to find in the city at the time but we would not go back. Our room showed signs of being broken into at one point as well.
I definitely would NOT recommend this hotel. You can spend a little more for much better with a similar location. The hallways and outside of the building had homeless people walking around. There was a yellow jam smeared on the elevator wall for over 2 days. Breakfast has little options, with only bagels, toast, and waffles. Was not well kept on the exterior or interior. The only good thing about this place was the helpful and efficient front desk staff.
Worst hotel experience of my life. We moved because my kid dropped a toy behind it and this is what we found
Room 545
Catheter/needles
Cigarette
Large ziploc bag of qtips
Rope bracelet
Metal medical tool
Garbage
Water bottle lid
Candy
Then we tried to switch to another room. In that room was:
Room 547
Dirty sock
Napkins
Half eaten rotted nectarine or peach
Glow stick
Water gun
More garbage
Stains size of a loonie
Clusters of dog hair and
Slimy substance on counter top
Finally at 11:30pm, with 3 kids in tow we settled on Room 118
Red drink Substance on wall and floor
Dog hair all over floor
Side of pullout couch dried substance
Burn hole on blanket on pull out couch
Burn mark on coffee table (non smoking room)
Smelled like smoke
Bathroom drain not usable
Sharp zip tie on side of pullout couch, scratched and made bleed
Fridge dirty with mold in corners
Counters dirty, caked on
Asked for a vacuum 3 times. Didn't come
Light bulb burned out.
2 long hairs 1 curly hair on towels in room.
While opening the dirty pullout couch for my child to sleep on I was cut rather deeply by the sharp end of a zip tie, and had to go ask for band aids.
Would never recommend or stay here again. But at 11pm-12am and 3 kids after a long day of medical appts and travelling there was very few options that seemed feasible
The moment I opened the door, a wave of stale air and mold hit me. Instead of the clean, fresh smell I expected, the carpets smelled like they had been damp for weeks.Hoping to sleep off the travel weariness, I collapsed onto the bed, only to find the pillows were completely unsupportive. They were flat and lumpy, almost like trying to rest your head on a bag of loose potatoes. Tossing and turning, I woke up every hour with a sore neck, making a good night's rest impossible. A broken juice machine is rarely an isolated problem. Often, it indicates broader kitchen management issues. When a hotel is understaffed or poorly organized, breakfast trays—such as the ones holding boiled eggs —go un-refilled. Guests end up fighting over the few remaining fruits and bread without butter and other sauces.
Air conditioner was very loud. Rooms were extremely small and dated. Water slide was very old and not well maintained. 1star hotel.
Breakfast was gross
Room was disgusting looks like hasn’t been cleaned in months. Left over garbage from last guests Moldy lamp shades , roof covered in god knows what kind of substance. Light in middle of the bed covered in gross sticky stuff. AC unit packing half way hanging out. Only that that was even remotely good was the beds were comfy. Even tough I booked 2 queens and got 2 doubles. Only thing nice there is the lobby and restaurant. Solid 1/10 experience
Great location. Friendly staff & manager, problems with ventilation throughout. The rooms dark, window too small and couldn’t open for air flow, too stuffy and humid to stay in breakfast rooms, limited breakfast.
Room wasnt the cleanest : giant green gob of toothpaste on white shower curtain, floor of tub dirty, hair on wall. Tags in your face on the bed. The AC unit needed work, with it on full blast the room never got cooler than 25 degrees.
The included breakfast was a little disappointing, it was a make shift room. Offered the regular toast, bagel, juice, coffee & Tea. Its not really a "hot breakfast" only ONE waffle per breakfast ticket.
This hotel was unsafe, dirty and vile. There was pee in the elevator every single morning, the smell was revolting, tens of people smoking right at the main entrance and no staff on desk to be seen. They were constantly in the back room and not helping. I had items stolen from my room when it was cleaned after night one and decided to cut my losses and find a new hotel. I would never take children there or stay alone, it was absolutely rancid. The hotel room door has been repaired from what was clearly a crow bar breaking in. The sheets and towels smelt revolting and the fact the floor was consistently covered in urine just sums up how gross it was. 10/10 would not recommend. And the demographic of people who are clearly living out of the hotel was extremely unsavoury. Yuck, no thank you.
