"The room was clean and housekeeping did a phenomenal refresh service everyday. You could tell it’s an older property that has been updated, there were some notices of needing attention to detail for a spotless property. The food was insanely expensive for the cost, this was my biggest gripe. A simple breakfast was over $50 for two people."

"Cabana Bay was a fun place to stay and an excellent home base for our Universal vacation. The retro theme is charming, the pools are fantastic, and the location can’t be beat. A special thank you to the staff, who upgraded our room for my son’s birthday. That extra touch made him feel celebrated and helped make the trip even more memorable. The biggest downside was the noise. The walls seemed very thin, and for three nights we could clearly hear a neighboring guest loudly yelling and swearing at her son, making it difficult to relax and sleep. Overall, the staff, amenities, and location made for a great experience. Despite the noise issues, we’d stay again and appreciate the kindness shown to our family during a special birthday trip."

"From start to finish our stay at the Marriott Grand Vista was terrible. Checking in was very difficult because Marriott had our name wrong on reservation. It took almost an hour to check in. Then we were told we had to pay $30 per day for parking. Our room was 3330 was dark and dingy. But check in said it was overlooking the lake with a very pretty view however the trees in front of the lake were untrimmed and overgrown. The entire property needs a major overhaul. Lots of noisy construction going on around our unit. The coffee at the Lighthouse cafe was expensive and terrible tasting. I threw it out! Needless to say were were very disappointed and will never return to the Grand Vista"
