"Très bien placé et confortable"

"The staff were very nice and helpful -- found us a second room fan with no muss or fuss. The area has so much to offer -- including a great coffee shop 2 blocks down! The courtyard and flowers were absolutely beautiful, even at the beginning of fall! Don't know when I'll be back this way, but would stay here again in a heartbeat! Beds were wonderfully comfortable; bath was sparkling and had everything we needed! We did NOT have a car, but they have parking if we had needed it."

"The check-in was great with a very helpful person behind the desk. Parking in the lower level garage was secure and gated with secure access to the elevator. The room was immaculate, particularly the bathroom which was gleaming. There are a couple of restaurants just west down Lombard and some other fun dining choices a few blocks down on Union -- along with a gelato place. The only negative was you could hear the road noise but I had earplugs anyway and all was great."

I was a little disappointed that when we checked in, our attendant simply checked us in and gave us our room key, while the other receptionist provided more information on where those guests were location-wise, offered a map, and so on. "Lovely Victorian hotel in the lower Pacific Heights. Everything was period correct, from the furniture, the paintings, draperies, etc. We especially liked the sherry and biscuits served starting at 4 PM. The breakfast buffet was fine with the usual offerings. Staff was very courteous. The hotel bordered on Japantown and we found a wonderful 10 seat udon restaurant less than a block away. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the ghost."

"Room had everything we needed and was accessible. Hotel offers parking but limited spots on main level , additional in bottom level. Staff were extremely friendly! One downside is just the location , if you’re a light sleeper there is a lot of noise around the area but they do offer complementary ear plugs! I would definitely still stay there again! "
