"My family had a great stay at the Star Motel. The suite could accommodate 2 adults and 3 kids very comfortably. The room was very clean and in great shape. Very helpful friendly staff and good location. "
"Natalie was the hotel super modern and very inviting, the room was very clean, the location was great, and the parking was easy. What really pushed our stay over the top and made it truly spectacular was the customer service given to us by Damon at the front desk! He was the best! We can’t see enough wonderful things about him and the help he offered us. We would absolutely recommend this property and we plan to stay here again the next time we’re in town."

"Room had everything we needed and was accessible. Hotel offers parking but limited spots on main level , additional in bottom level. Staff were extremely friendly! One downside is just the location , if you’re a light sleeper there is a lot of noise around the area but they do offer complementary ear plugs! I would definitely still stay there again! "
"Lovely, historical hotel, with very helpful and frequently staff.we particularly enjoyed teatime with freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. The parking lot next door was also super useful. Overall, a very pleasant stay!"
"This motel is very centrally located with an easy walking distance to the wharf district and North Beach, and it is right around the corner from a bus line to the mission district. My room was updated and clean, had a bathtub, which I appreciated, had a nice TV. The motel staff was exceptional, and even allowed me to park my car a few hours before check-in so that I could make this tour I had booked. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have friends coming into San Francisco...

- The hotel is located in a great area with restaurants, bars and ways to get around the city. We walked everywhere.
- The room was spacious, clean, and had an air conditioner
- Parking was free & is located in a garage below the hotel
- You need key access to enter the parking garage & elevator, which made us feel safe.
- There is NO refrigerator but they did have an ice machine on the floor
- Staff was nice and had everything...
