"The staff is absolutely 5 star! They go above and beyond and truly make you feel like a guest … they’re so helpful and kind ! My only con about this property is the lack of a traditional lobby with seating area etc, the cafe downstairs is dark and gloomy although the scones are delicious and the staff is super kind as well !"

"Great place to stay.Happy helpful staff. Clean and up to date room. Coffee the way I like it available in the lobby."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. We booked the room overlooking the Cathedral which was stunning. The room was really large and immaculately designed. The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. The walk was no more than 10 minutes to the centre. We were so impressed with this hotel and Durham we would definitely come back."

"Very friendly staff. Room was clean and quiet"

"Stayed here before the Great North Run, convenient for the A1 and a short drive into Durham. Clean property with helpful staff"
