"Cute little place. Very comfortable. Kitchen with laundry. Well stocked, even included tea. Nice bathroom, quite spacious. Great location just off the royal mile. Questionable elevator... It worked but no lights and was very slow."

"went to Edinburgh to see Biffy Clyro and was not really planning on doing a lot of Fringe stuff, but this location was so good for all things Fringe, and for anything you wanted to do in Edinburgh. The hotel staff was great and super helpful and the hotel is super cool and fun. It’s such a great spot and we went to several other hotels where our friends were staying - who were also in town at the same time- and they (the hotel is not the friends ) all sucked by comparison. Sorry other hotels."

"Fabulous place to stay, the perfect location. Right on the Royal Mile and a short stroll from the station. Room was great, really well equipped, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and we had a view over the Royal Mile too. Would definitely recommend"

"Solo traveller and 1st time to Edinburgh. Located right on the royal mile and within walking distance to historical sites, restaurants, and to top it off even with Fringe Fest happening, CODE made sure that their guest were well taken care of. The Pend which is the communal space and social theater room, were amazing. The inside bar was a great plus. I especially loved how CODE had luggage storage for early arrivals and late departures. Would stay again and highly recommended to anyone."

"We had such a lovely stay at The Apex, Waterloo Place. Our room and bathroom were fabulous, though we did report the light not working on the way in that wasn’t rectified during our stay. The breakfast was exceptional and staff so helpful. We had a fab time visiting the spa. Location is fantastic for locality to the town centre. We would definitely add this great hotel for any future stays."

"We booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced, central and dog friendly. It was £10 extra for dog, although they have recently increased to £15. Staff were great - doted on the dog, gave him treats, dropped off a bed and dog bowl on our room. Room was simple and clean - kettle and hairdryer included. There was an ironing room down the hall. We never visited the bar and restaurant bit the pictures looked nice! Would recommend if looking for somewhere mid range in the city centre."
