Be prepared to be in the centre of tourist central if you book this hotel. Rooms on the front are VERY noisy, especially on weekend nights (to 2 am on Saturday). Also, only some parts of the hotel are air conditioned. My room on the front of the building got up to 27 degrees C. There was a fan, but still—not very comfortable.
On the up side, the hotel is in easy walking distance of oodles of restaurants, and actually has a cafe itself for a super easy option. The breakfast is EXCELLENT—lots of choice, and hot food very fresh. The lobby is really nice—a pleasant place to gather at the end of the day. And for the most part the staff were lovely.
