No complementary water in rooms, bar closed in morning so unable to get any refreshments. Thin duvet on bed and rock hard pillows but the location sold our stay there."

"We had to abandon trip due to an emergency tried to move the booking to the following weekend. Initially hotel suggested it was possible but then decided it wouldn’t. Expedia staff were excellent in trying to assist. we understand the terms of the booking but as a frequent traveller the first time we have found a hotel operator to be inflexible which is a shame. As we weren’t able to complete the visit unable to comment on the rest of the facilities but unlikely to choose stop at a days inn...

"The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom. "The room was very basic. It was disappointing that the bathroom facilities weren’t self-contained, and the shower is essentially right next to the bed. Another issue was the parking. It costs £5 per night if you book through a third party like Expedia, which you have to pay on arrival, whereas it’s free if you book directly through Ibis. The difference isn’t very clear and feels a bit inconsistent. The noise from other guests early in the morning also disturbed my sleep, which didn’t help the...
