Downtown Beijing Packages (Flight + Hotel)

I have very mixed feelings about our stay: Positives: - location (close to subway, supermarket next door,etc) - friendly and helpful reception staff (don't really speak English but use a translator device and keen to help). - big room with a separate area for kids Negatives: - overall decor and cleanliness - as children stay free no amenities were provided for them. Had to ask for bedding and towels on arrival. Their bed never got made or enough towels left. - very rude staff in the breakfast bar (apart from the young guy on a couple of mornings) - rooms only cleaned superficially, sink and floor dirty, mushrooms sprouting in the shower. - limited breakfast options for western palates, not much variety from day to day. - no free ice-cream in lobby. My kids were disappointed. We stayed for 9 days and it wasn't available once. Don't advertise if you're not going to restock it. - view from our winfow: ask for street view if you can!

The room is cleaned daily and very close to shopping. The people are very friendly and helpful. Yet the beds are super hard. It has mattress but the hardest one. The breakfast does not worth the price. You may just walk out to the nearby market to have authentic Chinese breakfast at the fraction of the price.

The older guy at the front desk was a perfect and helpful gentleman! He brightened our stay! The location was perfect and the food and choices excellent.

This hotel was excellent. We had a wonderful stay here and the staff was top notch — so helpful and courteous! They went out of their way to support us with everything from choosing restaurants nearby, getting transportation and helping to solve any problems that we encountered. One night my daughter accidentally left her phone in a DiDi (local Chinese rideshare app) and as we didn’t speak Chinese, the staff helped us contact the company and the driver to arrange for the phone to be returned that night. Beyond the staff, the room was incredibly clean and spacious, and the amenities were very comfortable. The hotel also provides free afternoon tea service (with snacks) every day, which was always a welcome treat after spending each days exploring Beijing. We will definitely stay here if we ever return to Beijing and highly recommend.
