"We had an absoloutely wonderful two night stay with our toddler at Cave Auger. The upstairs family apartment was perfect for us , and we were particularly grateful for the excellent air con during one of the heatwaves earlier this year. The pool was great - warm and immaculately clean. Stéphane was the most welcoming host - and we particularly enjoyed the dinner on the terrace that was all local produce, and it came with our own little barrel of delicious wine. "Hôtel situé à l’entrée de la ville avec un jardin et une terrasse fort appréciable en fin d’été afin de profiter des derniers rayons du soleil. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Le parking est assez spacieux pour les suv. Petit déjeuner disponible mais nous n’en avons pas profité.la chambre était très spacieuse"

"Très bon service et bonne chambre."

"Excellente adresse, la gérante de l'établissement a été très arrangeante et sympathique. L'établissement est très beau et le petit-déjeuner parfait."

"Lovely spot, staff excellent, homemade, organic and locally sourced breakfast. Lacked an evening restaurant and options in Chinon in October were a little limited as off season. Great location to explore Chinon wines and Cremant near Saumur. Fontevraud-l’Abbaye was an interesting place to visit."

"The hotel lived up to our expectations and was ideal as a centre from which to tour that part of France. The one small drawback was that it was a little out of the centre of Azay-le-Rideau to which it took a good 15 minutes to walk."

"Un endroit magique !"

"Séjour pour le travail hôtel parfait parking à côté chambre spacieuse personnel sympathique petit déjeuner copieux"

"Situated in village square with parking in front of hotel, access to our room on floor 2 was a bit of a climb, especially as tge temperature was in tge upper 30s! The ambience of the Excellent Evening meal in rear courtyard was somewhat spoilt by noisy children in adjoining garden using a swimming pool( understandable in thus heat ?) Despite a fan being provided, temperature in room was quite uncomfortable. It really needed aircon because Opening window made traffic noise a problem. Breakfast...
