All staff were friendly and courteous from the late night clerk checking me it, the day desk clerk, and the heloful and thorough housekeeping gentleman. "It is an older hotel but renovated and clean. I am the type of person that brings my own cleaners when I travel by car and I didn’t need to use them here. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. Breakfast was included. I felt safe. The staff was as kind as they could be and responsive. I didn’t get to use the pool, but it was clean and clear, too! "

The reviews were good so I reserved 1 night a few days before I departed from my home for an overnight stay while on my way to Arkansas (Birmingham is exactly halfway). "Very nice stay - very clean. Never saw any staff so can’t review that. Parking was minimal and cramped - luckily we ubered where we needed to go so that we wouldn’t lose our spot. Check-in is simply using door code given per email… very simple and easy. The room is basically that, a room big enough for bed and side tables and dresser. Our room’s air conditioning was not working as well as the rest of the house so that was a little uncomfortable sleeping in a room that was 10 degrees warmer than...
