"The room is comfy, clean and has incredible views. You need a rental car here, but you want to explore the island, anyhow. Owner was helpful and easy to reach. Helped with baggage, finding places, etc. The bed and pillows...heavenly. Power went off just once and only for a few mins. Generators are a must. Wish the pool seemed more inviting and the adorable bar next to it was set up at least some of day. Wish there were more snack grab n go breakfast items. Only real issues: we didnt like the balcony door window uncovered. Parking was inadequate and we had to move a few times because being night owls, we were always last ones in. I think it is a sign of success because the hotel was full. This is a quiet retreat and we plan to return with more family next time!"

Margaritaville Vacation Club - St. Thomas

"I stayed at Margaritaville Vacation Club St. Thomas for six days. Overall, it was a nice resort that served its purpose, but there were a few drawbacks. The room was the highlight. It was spacious and included a fully stocked kitchen with plates, cups, utensils, glasses, a Conair hairdryer, an in-room margarita machine, and an ice machine nearby. The property is nice but feels a little dated. There are two pools, including one with a bar, which was a plus. Housekeeping was disappointing. Our sheets were never changed during our stay, and after requesting towels, we had to remind staff before they arrived two days later. The phones in the rooms also didn’t work. The Margaritaville restaurant was hit or miss. The shrimp tacos were delicious, but the jerk pork was not good and had to be sent back. A special thank you to Elaine “Haiti” at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations, excursions, and answering our questions. Transportation can get expensive since taxis charge per person, so I recommend renting a car if possible. Be prepared for a timeshare presentation offer, though it’s optional. Golf carts are available to take guests to their rooms, and taxis are usually waiting on-site. Would I stay again? Maybe. The spacious room was the best part, but the service could definitely be improved."
