"Very clean room , staff was very helpful and polite, food was delicious"

"First off, we end up killing two flying roaches during our stay. Secondly, the phone was out the entire stay. I had to contact front desk via cell. Thirdly, we had no WIFI the first day. We finally got it the last stay. Also, no cable until the last day. View was nice from balcony. I would also point out that front desk could be more attentive and inviting. Maybe my expectations are too high being a Marriott Owner."

"False advertising. Nothing portrayed in The description was accurate. Only 2 restaurants and a small coffee shop. Not 6. Could not get food passed 9 pm in either one. Nor drinks passed 10. Activities non existent No beach access as it’s full of seaweed. The smell is horrendous! Various places in the facility are run down and deteriorated. Everything was very clean and the staff was excellent! That’s about the only thing this place has going for it!"

"I love staying at the Ritz in st Thomas. More than anything we enjoy the employees. They are always helpful and make the trip worth it. I traveled there 2 years ago and I noticed several cut backs and things that they could improve on. For instance the serve the same food every single day for breakfast potatoes, bacon/sausage and eggs. They need to add pancakes and French toast because the food gets boring. "My day was fairly excellent. If you are doing a solo trip, I highly recommend this place. Only if you are looking for a place that is quiet and peaceful with not much people and or activities.
