"Clean room and polite staff. The spa was sup"

"Spotlessly clean hotel and everything thought about, would definitely stay again"

"On arrival, we didnt realise there was an older wing and a newer wing. We were in the older wing and the lifts do not go up to the 2nd floor in the older part of the hotel where our room was located and so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms. The walk was very higgly piggly and I did some damage to my back carrying the suitcases upstairs. As a senior, it would have been nice if help was provided with our luggage. When we checked out we asked for someone to take our luggage...

"Good parking and breakfast. Hotel in need of a refurb, would not stay again. That said, staff were pleasant and doing their best to be helpful."

"La struttura è tipicamente antica come tutto nella zona ma molto caratteristica e con i camini accesi tutto ha un fascino maggiore. Il personale è stato molto disponibile ed attento alle esigenze mie e di mia figlia. Ci siamo innamorate del posto e ci torneremo molto volentieri. L’unica cosa negativa è che il mercoledì e il giovedì la cucina era chiusa. A noi avrebbe fatto piacere restare a cenare nella struttura. Lunedì e martedì abbiamo mangiato piatti squisiti."

"Wonderful place. The decorations are are stunning, the detail, the food, the rooms as well. The ammenities as well are excellent - the Penhaligon soap and lotion, etc. all top quality. The grounds are also something from a postcard, with sheep a small lake, hills and paths."

":)"

"An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you"

"Room was very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Excellent meals and friendly helpful staff, Nice views over the golf course though not being a golf player I can't comment on the quality of the course, but it looked well maintained with the help of robotic lawn mowers. Swimming pool was pleasant to use and at good temperature. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay at this Hotel."

"Had a very nice stay. Room and bathroom were very clean and breakfast was lovely. Great variety! Also ate in the bar the first evening and the tempura fish was very tasty. Very peaceful sleep in the Peartree Mews room. Hotel grounds and gardens are so nice with the view across fields. Staff were very friendly too Would definitely stay again."

"The Royal George is quite nice and it is in the quiet part of Gloucester."
