"Beautiful resort well kept. Food was good. Beach was unusable due to sargassum and rough water. They have a free shuttle that takes you to another beach on the Caribbean side that is very nice. Entertainment was not great"

The staff was wonderful—they gave us a tour of the property and decorated our room with balloons, making the celebration even more special. "My husband and I stayed in the Romantic Room with an unbeatable view of the Petit Piton. The small plunge pool in our room was also nice. The only drawback to this property is the food. Breakfast is included but is nothing special. We had lunch and dinner once at the hotel. Prices are steep for what you get in terms of quantity. The staff was very kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the excursions we booked through the hotel. Despite the lackluster food, we would stay here again."

"I really wanted to love this 250 year estate. I loved The history , the idea of the chocolate estate and supporting local . This could be a real gem and I am aware it gets great reviews that’s why I chose it I will say for a night or two may be ok I would not do longer than that . We had the cottage with a pool . It’s not the resorts fault this is a very eco type hotel in that there is no hot water in the shower for example and they say it’s an outdoor shower but it really was more a gas...

"We loved Anse Chastanet! The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities were even better than expected. The snorkeling was incredible and the sunfish sailing was easy to learn. Our room was beautiful and well kept. I would definitely recommend the resort."
