"Updated and nice property that was close to everything. The room was updated, the grab and go breakfast was nice and I liked the filtered water bottle filler. The pool looked clean but too cold for my family at the time we went. The microwave and mininfridge were great too. Only drawback was the walls seemed thin, we were on the 2nd floor and anytime someone walked by you could feel and hear it and we could hear our neighbors. "We stayed in one of the small cabins. The cabin was just as described on the website and in the photos. The bed was comfortable. The porch on the front of Cabin was nice. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake. We ate both nights at the restaurant. The food was the best we have had in a long time, with very fresh ingredients and all the staff were friendly. They went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The service was exceptional with several extra nice touches We will be back ."

"Be sure to check in at their sister hotel 1.5 miles away, there is no office at the motel. The rooms that face the river have a parking lot in need of repairs as well as the steps leading to the rooms. The coffee maker did not operate in our room. While the bed, linens and bathroom were clean and fresh, there were dead bugs on the old heater below the a/c unit."
