"From the outside it looked very run down but the reception bar, dining rooms were lovely and the view outside was stunning!
The down fall is the noise from the motorway we had very poor sleep! We had a standard room which I thought would have been bigger than the cosy but our room was small but clean. The lack of sleep spoilt it for us. The leisure facilities were lovely and our evening meal. We had a full English breakfast which was good."

"The hotel spa was dirty and had dead flies everywhere in and around the pool. There was a light hanging down from the ceiling in the steam room. Multiple lights smashed in the carpark. We also didn’t have any towels in our room upon arrival."

"Very clean and cozy pod. Good wifi and all necessary amenities. Spacious grounds for children to run about. Good parking. Hammocks in shaded areas. The picture of a child on the beach made me think it was near the beach. Turns out it is not. That was a tad confusing."

"Whatever structural deficiencies the physical building may have, and there were a few, the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by hosts Jamie and Rob more than made up for it. The Horseshoe Inn is the type of place where you are immediately treated as family, and you don't want to leave at the end of your stay because you're afraid no one else would do it any better. Jamie and Rob do everything, from preparing and cooking all their menu items from scratch, chatting up their regular pub...
