"The hotel is in the city centre. Not ideal if you have heavy baggage with you as you have to use stairs to get to lift. Shower is poor. You need to hold the shower head when you need a shower."

"It was hard to take luggage to the chalet’s. They were very creaky rooms made of wood. You could hear everything in the loft when a person moved. The faucets were leaky, so you could hear drips while trying to sleep. The hotel triple beds room look like prison camp rooms. Very small tight and little. Not much room for luggage and to move around. If you like glamping. This is where you need to be. If you like luxury or comfort. No way Jose!"

"Arriving at Duomo Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is located high on the mountainside, and although the steep road up can feel a bit intimidating, it is absolutely worth it for the incredible views over Lake Shirokë. "I've now stayed at Grand Hotel Europa twice, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently underwhelming. On both visits, the hotel was undergoing active construction. I don't recall this being disclosed upfront during booking. For a property presenting itself as a hotel of this caliber, that's a meaningful oversight. The air conditioning in my room was problematic, it never quite did its job, which made for an uncomfortable night. What stood out most, though, was the staffing...

"We had a wonderful stay at El Greco. Our room was clean, comfortable bed, nice modern bathroom with an excellent shower. The location was perfect, near shops and restaurants. El Greco has an excellent restaurant, Eat Greek, with a new bar with a lovely terrace. Above all, I cannot say enough about the incredible owners and staff. They were so accommodating to us and our two small dogs. We highly recommend and will absolutely return."
