"Hotel was very clean,staff very helpful. Breakfast was ok but the quality of cooked food could have been better. We went for a wedding which was lovely. We didn't use the spa or pool as only there for one night. It was the hottest day of the year and in the parts that were air conditioned it was ok but the actual wedding was outside in the garden and there was no shade for the quests we were all melting and got sun burnt so would advise if its the reason for your visit take hats or umbrella. "This is a basic hotel with very nice front of house staff. I spent only one night prior to my trip on the Eurotunnel, which was convenient. It was great that they are pet friendly."

"Not well kept. Poor signage. No help with luggage. Toilet was so low as a handicapped individual I had to use the shower to urinate and public washroom for the deed. Switched rooms three times. Then stuffed in a room at the very back of hotel. Would definitely not recommend to anyone."

"We upgraded from a cosy room to a superior room. The room itself was lovely, though quite small and the bathroom had a roll top bath. The room was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. However, I would say that there was little space to put any of our things, little surface space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Our room was on the top floor; we were asked before arrival whether we had an problem with stairs, and there were quite a few levels to go up so be aware of this. I do have one...

"Internet was terrible .. I had no signal…the lovely person on reception told me they were aware of connection issues and were dealing with it. The staff and hotel itself were, as always, wonderful!! Great breakfast too!!"

"Room cleaned but had very old smell. Construction sound outside (they can't help it but just be aware) I plugged in my laptop and it blew the fuse in the room. Parking is pricy as is the restaurant but still nice to have. Staff, fantastic - no notes."

"We had a warm welcome at the hotel, which unfortunately doesn’t have any parking spaces. Our rooms were in the third floor, which we could access through an older elevator. The hotel has seen its best years and probably needs a good investor to renovate the property and furniture. It is at a great location, close to the beautiful beach and restaurants nearby. We left before 7am, when breakfast was served."
