We were lucky enough to enjoy the 8 course dinner, what a spectacular way to immerse yourself in the history of the magnificent chateau. "We would not stay here again. The biggest issue was that the elevator was out of order and we had to walk up 3 floors with our luggage. Our room had no AC while we lived through a heat dome. The room had inadequate space for storage."

"I booked this hotel because they advertised free parking which is a big deal in Bourge. Turns out they only have a few spots available and they were all taken. I ended up having to pay 11 euros to park 1 km away. Not a great start. I woke up to find that everything I had placed on the desk in the room hot wet overnight. "Standard, basic, low-cost, no-frills accomodation. Staff courteous. Breakfast simple, but OK. Room quite dark...desk light not functioning. Never like guests hanging out on the exterior stair landing...smoking & talking loudly. Other guests arriving at 1:30 am...laughing and shouting...obviously drunk."

"It’s a very animal friendly house as she has horses/dogs/birds/chickens and even a peacock!! The pool was a great relief after a long drive and that’s also where we enjoyed breakfast the following morning. The owner Laura was very nice and showed us to our rooms in the house with our own fans and bathroom (shower). "Accueil avec le sourire, chambre climatisée et propre, tv grand écran. Petit déjeuner : beaucoup de choix, pains et viennoiseries fraîches, grande variété de céréales et de noix, omelette, lard, saucisses... Tout pour bien commencer la journée."

"We stayed here as an overnight stop on the drive to Spain. The rooms were small withbtegards to floor space but had a staircase in them with a bed upstairs on the mezzanine floor. This was very exciting for the children. The pool was a great chance to relax although very deep and there was no lifeguard. The breakfast was great. Also, free parking and restaurants in walking distance."
