"Was interesting to stay in a historic building. We enjoyed walking around and exploring the hotel itself. The breakfast was very good, so many choices. The room itself was ok, a bit dark and dated and looked at another building."

"Definitely a "grand" hotel. Reception desk staff were friendly, nice pool, free on-site parking, bottle of wine in the room was a nice touch as well as the shuttle to/from town. The bartender does not serve tap water which we thought unusual as every other hotel we stayed at has always been happy to serve us a glass of water (not paid for)."

"The property is a beautifully updated historic structure. They have retained the charm. The bar/restaurant was excellent, outdoor dining was lovely, beds were comfy, room was spacious, and staff were helpful and unobtrusive. Taxi service to Santiago de Compostela was available but a bit pricey. If you have a car, parking is plentiful. I would stay again!"

"There is no front desk and no staff other than cleaning staff (very nice). They didn’t answer any of my email s with advance questions. However, the codes worked at 3 pm for check in, so it was fine. Make sure you phone is charged because you can’t get the code in advance."

"I will definitely stay here again. It’s clean, very close to the cathedral, to restaurants and shops, close to everything. The room has a good space for our luggage. The bed is good. Washroom is clean. Mary was so friendly and helped our check-in very smoothly."
