"We had a wonderful stay at this Villa Resort. The room was clean, with daily housekeeping. The Villa we stayed in was fairly new and didn’t have many kitchen amenities, such as frying pan or pots. The grounds are well kept and the beach is amazing, EXCEPT one of the beach staff were rude. My suggestion to the resort is to ASSIGN chairs for the week, to each villa. This way, you don’t go to the beach and he tells you “ sorry I’m full” at 11:00am. We could clearly see empty chairs but he was dismissive. Assigning would solve this problem. I get the feeling that $$ may play apart in this, if you pay extra, they give you better seats. There is no reasoning how they give you different seats every day. I think they could cut out a lot of the BS by assigning chairs ( and I don’t care if I’m in the front row either!). This would be easier on the staff, less stressful, and free them up for beach service. Improve staff by improving the process.
The rest of the staff and all the people we encountered were amazing and helpful.
The resort is in a gated community, has a beautiful calm beach, a few restaurants and shops, as well as a convenience shop which was helpful. It is located in Anse Marcel, which is a secluded, beautiful Bay, surrounded by mountains, it’s stunning!
We loved being so close to the marina, easy to catch a boat tour, and just a fantastic vibe!
I would highly recommend this resort. Rent a car!
I don’t think I’d ever stay on the Dutch side. Busy, busy city.

"Before our arrival, Julie messaged and offered to get us a taxi. We didn't need one, but lovely thought! Upon arrival, there was zero check-in process - just immediately greeted by Julie and straight to the room. There are some stairs to get to the room and Julie grabbed our luggage, even though we insisted we could carry it. The room was spacious with a beautiful view. It had everything we needed except for a microwave, but that was no trouble. The place was mostly quiet until a child arrived in the unit next door - there is not much in the way of soundproofing, given the way the doors and windows are made. But it's a small place in a quiet part of the island and we LOVED that. We walked to the beach several times, dined at the restaurant one night, and got drinks from the bar several nights. The pool was a nice place to sit for a chat. The bed was comfy, the shower was nice, and I cannot stop thinking about the paint color in the room, which was so perfect and calming. They left a sweet welcome note and chocolates and when we wanted a pizza recommendation, we texted Julie and she replied quickly and helpfully. We just got home today and I already miss being there so much, listening to the palms swaying in the wind with a nice glass of wine on our deck!"
"The art displayed through out the hotel is amazing. It is well maintained and there is a nice pool in site. I did not venture the entire hotel to see the rest, but it was well cared for. Staff is super friendly. Any issues you have gets resolved expeditiously. "
