"I did not enjoy my stay at La villa hibiscus. I stayed at multiple places and this is my least favorite. Although the property is nice and the rooms were cleanly. This place was a ghost town. The main reason we booked was for the restaurant just to get there and the restaurant was closed off. When I reached out to the host she tells me it was closed for off season. That would have been nice to know before booking. Industrial area. The one worker we saw on the property did not speak any English....

Only thing was the housekeeping kept knocking on our door every morning so early. If you like to sleep past 8am or rest after breakfast. Not sure how you can. There is no signs to say we are ok or we need our place serviced. But that’s not a bad problem to have. She was just a sweetheart doing her job so very well. "We liked the entire staff; they were friendly and helpful. Only the head lady at the front desk was "over it" as far as anything outside of the property. She was pleasant and smiled, but we had to find a restaurant for my husband's birthday for the night after arrival, even though it was our 1st visit and we don't speak French. We also had to find out on our own where the stores were. Until Carla came in and was more helpful and called the small ferry to let them know we would be going to Pistal...
