"No aircon is a real downside and didn't realise that when booking. Despite fan in room, the heat and mositure was oppressive"

"Dirty coffee cups laid out for breakfast. Seats in restaurant stained and grubby. Door pushes in corridors were grubby. Room had doors opening onto car park, no other ventilation, no privacy whatsoever. No water in the room and shower boiling hot as cold adjustment didnt work. Breakfast OK but only flavoured yoghurt, no choice of milk and no staff on hand to help or clear tables. Didn't comment during stay as only there overnight so no time"

"The gym was exceptional for a spa hotel and the breakfast was very pleasant however we did find that the hotel itself was quite dated and the rooms were in need of a bit of updating. The bathroom especially could use some modernization."

"The 1pm check in and 11am check out was a bonus. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was excellent. The food was incredible and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. All staff members were friendly and there was ample parking. We will definitely return!"

"Stayed here for 2 nights recently. House actually looked better than the photos. Lots of space with plenty of towels / cutlery / glasses / plates etc. lovely quiet street within walking distance of Loughborough. would 100% stay here again. I have removed one star as the thermostat on the shower could do with being checked. Unfortunately the only temperate was scalding hot which made it difficult to shower but I’m sure that’s an easy fix for the host. Thanks so much for the stay!"
