"Only two issues at this hotel: The carpet was dirty to the point it felt dirty, and the picture for the room online showed a view from the windows of the bay. The room was in the back of the hotel and the window faced the wall of the walkway directly below, not facing the village or the bay. Was told by reception that I reserved a “village view” room, which I didn’t. Nowhere on the reservation did it ask me if I wanted a bay view or village view. "The room was very clean, however we could never get the safe to work properly even after the hotel staff reset it. Bar was nice and relaxing. The staff was terrific. Breakfast was ok. We ate there the first morning only. Overall a great place to stay."

"The stay there made it easy to enjoy MSM. The room was pleasant, parking was easy and the breakfast was good. Only retraction was the fact that we did not get the needed code ahead of time. This caused anxiety and frustration which was eventually resolved but not a smooth process."

"The young lady that checked us in was great. The room was about the size of a large closet.the floors creaked a lot the breakfast was just very basic with the exception of the watery bacon. Overall I would not stay there again and I would advise others to look around. It was not my first trip to Bayeaux and I hope not my last"

"Nice little hotel near the town center. You can’t beat that. My only concern was taking my luggage to my room which was in the third floor and there was no elevation. But it is an old style home and totally understand. Thank goodness thatthe owner, Alin, had her son carry our luggage to our room. We very much appreciated that. If I ever return, I would definitely stay at this place. But in the first floor. 😎😂😎"

"It was a little confusing where to park on the mainland. I emailed hotel asking for parking code which worked on the gate. Check in on mainland and take free bus across the water to Mont Saint Michel. We left luggage in the car and had items we needed for the night in our backpacks which is definitely the way to go as we never could have hauled our luggage up the cobblestone street and then up 6 flights of narrow stairs to our room. Be sure to save your parking ticket as you will need it to exit...

"Great location in the center of the town and you can walk to all the sights and restaurants but I didn’t know that you had to have a code to enter the street where the hotel is located. Parking space is tight."

"Breakfast was very good. Room was dusty, you could clearly see it on phone and on surfaces. May or may not be fixed by daily housekeeping but needs to be checked. Although spacious Would not consider our room in Luxury category. Location excellent. Staff some more helpful and smiles than others. "

"The staff was friendly and very helpful with our questions as we know very little french. The shuttle driver from Bayeux to Mt St Michel was exceptional. I believe his name is Yon? (unsure of spelling but this is how I pronounced it) He was friendly, professional, kind and very informative. Very please with my visit!!"

"Hotel is in a great location with nearby parking, restaurants and shops. Breakfast had many choices and the food was exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the staff was great except for one at the front desk who was not helpful when asked about restaurants and reservations."

"The lobby, bar, restaurant areas are bright, clean, and welcoming. The guest rooms are also clean and nice but with very minimum furniture. The hallways were under construction, and you walked through covered carpets and sheet rock to get to your room. The air conditioning did not work. You had to open the window to get cool air. When we complained, first they said this was because of the construction, then changed the story and said the air conditioners were off because it was not the season...
