"This was a big disapointment! walking up to the hotel it looked magnificent and foyer was amazing. The room was another story really. 20 years ago this would have been magnificent but its not 20 years ago. Its very tired and outdated. Little TV and not smart TV, no USB plugs and I had to crawl under the desk to find a powerpoint to charge my phone. "Stayed at the Marriott for 6 nights in July. Overall, a really excellent stay. There were a couple of things we were not happy with. 1st - the Wi-Fi barely worked the entire 6 days we were there. 2nd - the bathroom design is a little silly. The side of the bathroom wall has gaps which allow you to see into the room and all the noise travels from the bathroom into the room due to those gaps. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb, was für eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre sorgt. Wer die Umgebung erkunden oder flexibel unterwegs sein möchte, ist mit einem Mietwagen gut beraten. "Lovely hotel, staff were great and food was great at breakfast. The main thing I would flag if you want to spend time by the pool, it’s not as straight forward as you would think there are apparently a small number of hotel sun beds that you can book 24 hours before but I just wanted a guaranteed spot so book and paid for a sunbed with a sea view for 50euro. You have to book on manta.mt. Once you’re there the staff, food and drinks are great and not too expensive"

"Staying at the Corinthia Palace was such a treat. From the fantastic service to the amazing food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & did not want to come home. The room was so spacious & comfortable, with a lovely sized balcony. Big, comfortable beds & a choice of pillows if needed. Even the slippers were comfortable. The pool was wonderful! The sun loungers were easily available… no sun-bed hogging is allowed. Large towels are supplied & cleared away afterwards. Staff are on hand offering...

"The hotel was excellent for location and amenities. The beach club was great for bathing and access for sea swimming. The roof top pool is worth a visit so book a sunbed as soon as you arrive. "Best thing was the view of the water and Valetta The room was clean but extremely small. The air con could not be adjusted so it would get cold to leave it on at night but the room would heat up as soon as you turned it off. The hotel didn’t have its own pool, but shared the public pool across the road which the hotel offered for free if you were lucky enough to get a lounge and umbrella. Breakfast was very average. A bit expensive overall."
