"This is an oasis - the gardens are beautiful and the whole complex just has a quality feel. The reception kept in touch with me ahead of my arrival and made sure that I was looked after upon arrival. The room was very nice - big enough for what I needed - clean and well-equipped. This is a delightful place to stay with lots of nice touches to welcome you and add to your stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place"

"Eine sehr schöne Anlage mit sauberen Pool. Frühstücksbüffet war reichhaltig und gut sortiert. Alles war sehr sauber, das Personal sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Wir konnten direkt ein paar Tage vor Anreise unsere Tour mit den Erdmänchen unkompliziert buchen. Die Tour war gut und wir haben viele dieser kleinen putzigen Tierchen gesehen. Eine klare Empfehlung- das Hotel und die Tour."

"Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Der Blick ist gigantisch. Die Zelt 2 war gut ausgestattet mit einem Kühlschrank Kaffee Tee und Keksen. Einen täglichen Zimmerservice gab es auch wo Handtücher gestellt wurden. Das Badezimmer mit eigenem Whirlpool war großzügig und mit Schaumbad Seifen Shampoo und Conditioner ausgestattet. Der Blick über das Taal mit Springböcken war gigantisch sowohl von der Terrasse als auch aus der Wanne!"

"We arrived late in the evening as dinner was being served but after a slight mix up with our room we were given lovely cottage/house that was beautiful. We were only here for one night but it was so lovely. The dinner was simple but really enjoyable and all guests sat around the fire pit afterwards until late into the night telling stories about their travels. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and would recommend this place. "

"Lovely Manor House Hotel property set within its own grounds and beautiful gardens, only a few miles outside of Oudtshoorn. Lovely large bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed, fluffy towels and toiletries with room service each day. Excellent breakfasts with good choice of healthy options and hot selection cooked fresh to order. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. "

"Un super accueil avec Superman John qui a vraiment effectué un traitement sur mesure. C est un très bel endroit situé tout proche de la ferme Highgate où l on peut voir les autruches. Sur l hôtel, l endroit est très calme et agréable et derrière l hébergement, on peut également observer les autruches. Les restaurant propose également d excellents plats et le buffet du petit déjeuner est excellent."

"Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite "
