Our stay was fantastic. We were late checking in and they were very accommodating and still allowed us to order some dinner even though the restaurant was almost closed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Rooms were lovely & staff were all friendly. Dinner & breakfast was tasty. A member of staff even cleaned our hire car! Close to the ostrich farms and the views are stunning.

A fantastic place to stay!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful surroundings and wonderful food. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our chats with Theo and Grant. Our booked Meerkat experience was cancelled due to heavy rain but Theo offered to rearrange that for the following morning - and we are so glad not to have missed that! Grant was a wonderful young man - extremely patient with my husband’s beer selection and very helpful with advice on places to visit. A fantastic place to stay!

This location is a little piece of paradise located in the Karoo region of South Africa. Beautiful rooms, peace and quiet and some of the nicest and most accommodation people anywhere. The meerkats, fish eagles and grey herons were brilliant! Would be absolutely perfect if they got rid of the plastic bottles.

Family trip from Canada

We had a family trip stay for 3 nights. Arrived late at night and was warmly greeted and would have given us food if we needed but we ate on the way. Friendly , helpful staff were excellent all around. Food was good to average but the service top notch! We enjoyed time by the pool was lovely. Meerkat safari was arranged for us, then we went to High gate Ostrich farm had a terrific guide Jonathon was so fun! And then Cango Caves were fantastic and finished this jam packed day at the Cango Wildlife Ranch. This was a great tour with a wonderful guide Navin, but is a zoo which we didn’t realize, and since we’re going on a real safari soon , this was not necessary for us. But as far as zoos go, it was terrific and we learnt a lot! The main negative was the door locks to the unit. It was tricky to get the old fashioned farm house key in the keyhole. Overall a wonderful stay , it was a little out of the way for what we had planned after our wonderful busy Meerkat day - but that day was perfect! And grateful for Grant’s service and hospitality, a nice young man.

Amazing place, wonderful staff. And meerkats!

We enjoyed 2 nights here and were delighted with our stay. The exquisite setting and great accommodation were topped only by the friendly and helpful staff team who looked after us from the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out. Food in the restaurant was excellent. The meerkat safari is a must and with our own car we were able to return for breakfast after observing them for a couple of hours then head out to Cango Caves and onto drive the Swartberg Pass stopping in Prinz Albert for lunch and looping back home for a massage at the guest farm before dinner. An extraordinary day itinerary!

Really enjoyed our stay. Property was like an oasis surrounded by nature with a lovely pool and restaurant with sunset views. Only criticism was our room was interconnecting and you could hear every noise from next door. So when our neighbours woke at 5.45am so did we!

Eine sehr schöne Anlage mit sauberen Pool. Frühstücksbüffet war reichhaltig und gut sortiert. Alles war sehr sauber, das Personal sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Wir konnten direkt ein paar Tage vor Anreise unsere Tour mit den Erdmänchen unkompliziert buchen. Die Tour war gut und wir haben viele dieser kleinen putzigen Tierchen gesehen. Eine klare Empfehlung- das Hotel und die Tour.

Netter Empfang, sehr schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Bergblick. Der Blick aus dem Pool ist grandios! Leckeres Essen, nettes Personal und natürlich die tolle Erdmännchen- Tour. Sollte man vorher buchen, kann auch mal ausgebucht sein. Hat uns gut gefallen

De Zeekoe Guest Farm is an exquisitely beautiful Klein-Karoo farm with magnificent views of the mountains. It has a very tranquil atmosphere and if it gets too hot there is a swimming pool to lounge in. Kristy and her staff are very friendly, warm and hospitable. My husband got COVID and Kristy offered us a free stay so that he could isolate in one place. We will for sure visit De Zeekoe again and we are also looking forward to explore their game lodge: Wildehond Game Reserve. I highly recommend to stay there if you are looking for accomodation in the Klein Karoo.

Wir hatten eine Holz Lodge gefühlt mitten im nirgendwo. Es war eine aufregende Erfahrung für uns, da es weit vom Haupthaus entfernt war und wir dort ganz alleine waren. Die Ruhe, der Ausblick und das Häuschen waren aber unglaublich.
