"My daughter and I stayed at the Aquila Atlantis Hotel during our visit to Heraklion. While it didn't have the unique character and intimate atmosphere of some of the boutique hotels we stayed at elsewhere in Greece, it was still a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

"Lovely appointed hotel, very peaceful, convenient and with secure parking. We used this hotel for a 2 day stop over, before catching the ferry to Santorini. Could not get a more luxurious and convenient hotel for the ferry!! Highly recommend the restaurant Peskesi in Heraklion (book) and a visit to Stilianou winery (both highlights of our brief but very comfortable stay at this hotel)."

"Hotel was good overall but the only problem I had was that food could be better but luckily for me I only did half board so that way I was abt to go get either lunch or dinner outside the resort."

"The hotel was lovely. Our room was very spacious with a living area and bathroom (with shower) separated by a door from the bedroom with king size bed and another bathroom (with soaking tub). The only challenging part was parking.We had to illegally park to unload the car and then drive it down to the port parking lot. It was about a five minute walk back to the hotel.

"Overall the Mitsis Laguna is an excellent resort. It's well maintained and the staff are extremely polite and helpful making the overall experience excellent. The only point to make was the sound proofing in the bungalow that we had near the 2nd pool. We could hear the people both above and in adjoining room quite clearly and the early morning cleaning outside woke us up most mornings."

"Agréable séjour dans un havre de paix où tout est réuni pour passer de bonnes vacances!
Chambre confortable et insonorisée, très belle plage aménagée, personnel adorable.
Quelques points négatifs à souligner: piscine petite et de ce fait transats pris d’assaut, salle de bain à rénover, nourriture répétitive.
A mon sens il s’agit un bon 4 étoiles à taille humaine.
Toutefois, j’y reviendrai avec plaisir."
