"La paradise inn. In a nut shell I think it’s very expensive for what it is. I would say in European standards it’s a 2star, the rooms are very dated and basic and the staff are so rude, this include the owner who is British Ghanaian. "I was a little concerned since the hotel was so reasonably priced. But the service there was great. Everyone went out of their way to be as accommodating as possible. The accommodations are basic but clean. Breakfast in the restaurant was fine. Always ate dinner out so I can't comment on that. For those who have travelled in West Africa, the electricity was 24/7, as was wifi. showers were always hot. I realize that may not seem like much, but in West Africa you can't take those things...

"The room was slightly larger than a coffin. The entrance to the shower was about 3 feet wide, I am not a large man but had to squeeze through the opening. When using the sink, water would run out from the base and, since the floor was not level, the water would run out of the bathroom and pool at the side of the bed. "I travelled to Ghana for my birthday and everything about my stay exceeded my expectations. From my room to the staff singing happy birthday at breakfast, and then the bedroom set up with the bed display, cake, champagne, I couldn't have asked for a more special way to start my new year. All of the staff were so lovely, particularly Charity and it will definitely be a hotel I will stay at again and recommend!"
