This was an oasis for 5 nights after a terrible road journey. (Ghana's main roads are currently in a terrible state). We loved everything about the hotel - staff, food, location and a great pool. Thank you!

You can study the exhibits at Java Museum, a museum with a storied past, during your trip to Elmina. While you're in the area, stroll along the beaches.
It's scruffy, dirty and very busy, but it still has a charm, with it's dilapidated old colonial houses, the magnificent castle and the teeming port. It's fascinating to watch the fishing boats going out in the evening then come back in the morning.
