"The resort is located in a good location at the southern part of the mainland, with a public beach just two steps away. The beauty of the public beach being so close is that guests can choose between the resort beach or public beach, but the public cannot use the resort beach. The resort was well kept and the beach clean. Breakfast was a good selection. I would however recommend fresh fruit juice is available. My overwater bungalow was lagoon view, not much privacy, but that is how the bungalows...

"Very well maintained grounds. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. A couple of areas needing repair around the exterior of the rooms with siding falling off. The ice machine was broken for the duration of our stay, but was working again as we were leaving. The service members would bring large buckets of ice to our room though. Tanya found us walking and stopped on her golf cart to ask us if we wanted a ride. By the time we reached our room, she had us set up for two dinner...

"The St. Regis Bora Bora was outstanding. The overwater bungalow was huge and we loved having our own private deck, with and without shade, with a little dock and outdoor rinse shower. The staff and 5-star hospitality made us feel like royalty and the food was excellent! Highly recommend!!"

"The property was still having some construction improvements happening but it did not impact our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, from the reception desk to the restaurant. The in room updates and work put into the property since opening is exceptional. Staying a little further away from Papeete is nice and starts to give you more of an island feel. The only issue that was resolved on its own was room service to our over water bungalow. The restaurant told me I had to come pick up...

"The Le Taha'a Pearl Resort is a wonderful serene experience, right near beautiful coral gardens! The General Manager (Laurant) and the entire staff are wonderful! We definitely will be going back there."

"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant.
