"It was a great property with the only main downside of not having ramps for rolling in luggage at other doors other than the front. So….if you park close to your room entrance, you can’t roll the cart in. The cleaning crew was very attentive throughout the hotel."

"The room was fine for the money, the location was nice, parking was easy and ample, the shower worked well and the room was clean. One bed had no over sheet, just a fitted one, a blanket and coverlet. The breakfast was not even really a "continental", and the coffee was awful: Keurig machines in the room do not make up for bad morning coffee. The staff seemed uninterested in actually doing their jobs, but maybe they were having bad days and hate their boss/owner who seems not to want to...

"Gives the appearance of clean, but it’s just surface. Well-made beds, went to sleep, and was exhausted after a long day of hiking and enjoying a nice dinner on the strip, only to find something I thought was bunched up sheets around my feet. Woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, pull the sheets back, and when I stepped out of the bed, a pair of large flannel men’s boxers, were attached to my foot… Absolutely disgusting. This just goes to show you that they do not actually strip...

"The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location was great for day trips to different places, plus walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town. The view of Mirror Lake was amazing! All the amenities were perfect! This is a definite return stay place for us."

"The location was everything! A few minutes walk to Mirror Lake, shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream, and trails around the lake. Since parking costs a premium within Lake Placid, this was a major perk. Second, staff was a text away and showed up at our room to walk us to the newly relocated firepit with Adirondack chairs under the starry sky. Would 100% stay here again. Directly next door to Fratelli's pizza and what a great value compared to pricy spots in Lake Placid."
