"Was not worth even $40 per night , I paid $98.00 , first room , had garbage can full from last customer, beds were made but who knows if we’re changed , opened bathroom door and there’s a used towel hanging on hook with a big skid mark exposed, talked to front desk tells me that the room was signed out clean by maids, obviously there’s no one checking there work , gave me another room everything looked good till I went in shower next morning there was a used bar of hotel soap and shampoo bottle...

"On the whole the facility was good. Bed was comfortable. Instructions for the TV was helpful. Clean, lots of towels, soap etc. the kitchen could use a toaster, scissors, cutting board, big knives and serving spoons. The location was excellent. Views are wonderful. Interesting restaurants and shops. On the whole great stay"

"The bed was clean and comfortable. Room was extremely noisy with traffic noise and other guests. The bathroom and towels were dirty, and obtaining new ones took several requests to the front desk."

"One of the best things about this hotel is Hesham (Front Desk/check-in). He welcomes you like an old friend (even if it's your first time staying there). Our room (and two other groups/guests) wasn't ready - not his fault as we were early to check-in. He offered us a seat in reception, showed us where we could get coffee/tea from while we waited (they have an amazing cappuccino machine and a great selection of teas. When our room was ready (not long at all - we hadn't even finished our...

"We stayed one night and wish we’d had a lot more time. The bed was super comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The staff were excellent. We ate at the pub for dinner (fantastic!) and the cafe for breakfast (also fantastic!). Definitely recommend the Riverside Inn."

"Very clean."

"This place was amazing! Great location, just a quick walk to the Tube shack. Jake on the lake had great food, lots of options. When we checked in, I noticed there wasn’t going to be enough coffee pods for our group. I texted the number provided and the owner was there in less than five minutes. Super place, will definitely be back!"

"My room was spotless. Had a beautiful view of the Cowichan River. Conveniently located with shops, restaurants, and parks all within walking distance."

"Very dirty bathtub and filthy couch that’s never been vacuumed under or garbage cleaned out of the pull out couch. Absolutely disgusting place don’t stay here. The bathtub needs a good scrub and the window for the bathroom was broken so it wouldn’t close."

"Such a charming bed and breakfast! Gorgeous view of the ocean and the property was in a well kept neighbourhood. The host was absolutely warm and welcoming. Made my boyfriend and I feel at home. We stayed one night , so it was a brief, but pleasant stay. Breakfast was so good! Will come back in the future for sure."

"Quaint but Very clean. Very helpful hosts. Air con worked well. Our two bedded room, would have benefited with curtain or blinds for side window and also a coffee machine. Otherwise perfect."
