"Staff is impersonal, particularly at reception where they need to be super helpful. My husband come down with flu and asked at reception if they had any medicine and the answer was “ no “ and end of, not an alternative offered or even indicating the nearest pharmacy. Rooms were okay, clean but worn out and the daily room keeping rushed as I would find dirt on the floor from the day before. Food was well cooked and tasty but not much variety offered as the days went by. "

"Lots of areas for management to improve. We have been sick for almost 2 weeks! Noticed birds eating out of the bread baskets yet staff turn away. Also, smoking is out of hand at this property. People do not follow rules, smoking everywhere including in their rooms and staff do not enforce following designated smoking spaces. It was our first and last time at Riu. "

Lots of food choices including a buffet and several a la carte. We were here 1 week amd had no problems booking a different restaurant each night by going to the booking service at 1030 in the odyssey bar ( next to the piano). Food was excellent. "I loved the Kasbah fortified town architecture, the inner gardens, excellent accommodation and view from balcony. The bedding and pillows were so comfy... I slept extremely well.
