Located in the hills the hotel is fairly nice. Good view on Mindelo. Nice staff with prompt reaction in their communication. Good view, good breakfast. The property is downhill a 15 minutes walk to Laginha beach.

Small hot room but nice breakfast.

Nice hotel with outdoor breakfast by the small waterfall/pool, and a great view. Very friendly service. The bunk bed room we had was very small, I think the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom. No aircondition, so quite hot.

The view from Belvedere is breathtaking, but the property is extremely far from the harbour and involves a long, tiring trek with countless stairs. The room, although described as a suite, is very basic and more in line with a 3-star standard at best. The staff did try to help, but their capacity was limited. The receptionist was unable to assist with luggage despite the many stairs; fortunately, our driver helped us. She also recommended a restaurant on arrival which turned out to be dreadful — essentially fast food for locals. It was dirty, unhealthy, and completely unsuitable. The swimming pool is tiny, though at least it allowed for some sunbathing. Breakfast was mediocre and ends at 11am. There is no food or drink service available during the day, which is unacceptable and reflects a general lack of service. The hotel feels more suited to backpackers and budget travellers — certainly not our taste and absolutely not luxury. Toiletries were minimal, towels and pillows had to be requested upon arrival (thankfully I had my own toiletries), and the bed was uncomfortable — the mattress triggered my sciatica. The reception itself is tiny, almost like a mouse hole, and unwelcoming. In short, aside from the spectacular views, I would not stay here again. This hotel is not for me or my husband.

Frukosten var en katastrof. 180 kr för lite bröd och kaffe. Kändes inte fräscht. Fanns inget varmvatten på rummet. Ligger fel och långt till centrum. Gick ner till stan. Kändes inte säkert. Svårt att få taxi. Air conditioner fungerade delvis kunde inte stänga av den eller ändra temperaturen. Sämsta hotellet på väldigt länge.

Situation exceptionnelle, avec vue sur toute la baie. Toutefois à 25 mn à pied du centre... Taxis faciles à trouver (sauf après carnaval...) et pas cher. Eviter les mini- chambres sans fenêtre...

Mijn 14 dagen verblijf in het Pombas Brancas Resort in Mindelo - São Vicente was geweldig. Het is een prachtig hotel, mooi gelegen, super uitzicht over de stad en zee! Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De hotelkamer was comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. De schoonmaak was steeds superschoon en het bed, was heerlijk ligt, werd telkens heel mooi opgemaakt. Ook kreeg ik steeds schone handdoeken. Heb echt heel erg genoten van mijn vakantie op Kaapverdië. Het verblijf in dit resort is absoluut 5 sterren waard! En de prijs kwaliteitsverhouding kan eigenlijk niet beter🙂
