The property was nice but we needed to change rooms due to the moldy-distinctive smell that got one of us sick. For the most part, the staff food, entertainment, amenities were solid but this is not a place i would stay again. Overall 3.8 out of 5

Il est impossible de trouver un transat et les transats même à la plage quand il y en a ils sont vieux, dégradés, et pas confortables ! Les chambres mériteraient une rénovations. Aussi je souhaite vous faire part de notre mésaventure au retour l’avion qui devait nous ramener à Lisbonne est arrivé avec 1h de retard ce qui a occasionné l’annulation de notre vol en correspondance vers Paris et une 2ème annulation de Paris à Lourdes non remboursable!! Ce désagrément nous a terni les vacances !!!

A nice and vibrant environment, Lovely staff and fantastic customer service. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. Food was great...the salad, shrimps and fruit made me ill so i will avoid eating those foods on the cape verde island not just at the Riu. Next time i will book directly with Riu hotels online instead of through expedia. As Expedia charged my account and then said I had cancelled the booking. I was charged in addition to paying at the riu property on arrival. There was no cancellation i thorougly enjoyed my stay. So this was disappointing to know expedia had done this. Then sent a cancellation email as a resolution 3 days after i highlighted the addition payment it to them.

Best beach holidays!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, our room was modern and clean and very comfortable. The bed was a dream. Staff was super friendly and the all inclusive buffet was excellent with a huge variety for all meals and also possibility to grill your own meat or fish. It was one of the best holidays we ever had! The beach is very close and gorgeous with plenty of chairs available and a gorgeous palm grove to get out of the sun a bit. In summary, we had an amazing stay at Riu Cabo Verde and would definitely recommend it and book here again! Thank you!

I loved the Kasbah fortified town architecture, the inner gardens, excellent accommodation and view from balcony. The bedding and pillows were so comfy... I slept extremely well. Food was fresh and abundant, coffee place aromatic. All staff worked hard and efficiently and the local musicians were present every night. An amazing stay!

Toujours ravis par les prestations proposées dans les hôtels RIU, buffets exceptionnels, service parfait, espaces verts soignés animations soirées très réussies. Quelques points négatifs : linge de toilette très usé, transats piscine et coussins à nettoyer, qualité des vins et cocktails beaucoup trop sucrés.

Excelente opção, recomendo.

Excelente, recomendo. Empreendimento bem localizado, em frente á praia, com boa área na zona das piscinas. No que concerne as refeições, excelente. Bom serviço, pessoal prestável e atencioso, muita escolha de diferentes tipos de comida para todas as refeições, pequeno almoço fabuloso. Quartos espaçosos e agradáveis, contudo o colchão do nosso quarto já necessita de ser mudado, e o único reparo que temos a fazer de uma semana de férias, é que o pessoal de limpeza dos quartos é um pouco barulhento, sempre que tentamos dormir uma desta, havia muito barulho nos corredores das camareiras a falar umas com as outras. Programa de animação do hotel bastante completo, com várias atividades ao longo de todo o dia e noite.

Oh le gourmet !!

Personnel , services au top ! Pour moi , le point un peu plus négatif fut la qualité de certains produits et plats proposés. Je veux bien admettre que le ravitaillement sur une telle ile n'est pas très aisé. Mais à vouloir proposer un tel éventail de produits consiste aussi à présenter des fruits et légumes souvent insipides ! La présentation des desserts est vaste mais gustativement réduite , au gout très artificiel à mon avis. Les restaurants à thème présentent un menu qui ne correspond pas toujours au contenu de l'assiette. L'éco-responsabilité dans ce domaine est peut-etre aussi à prendre en compte. Moins de produits ,mais plus de qualité !

Inget info att man behöver covid testet att checka in, det får du som överraskning på plats,då har du 2 val ,betala och göra testet eller ingen hotell, jätte besviken. Ingen möjlighet att använda internet, innan check in,bara, gör check in då får du koden.

No stress Cab Verde. Cats, coffee and great buffet

Amazing hotel. The only worries- the harassing sales men between the hotel and the beach. The coffee bar was awsome but should open before 10.30 am- should be more like 07 or 08 am. Not good fish at the Italian speciality restaurant, we all spent the next 12 hours in the bathroom. Krystal was great and so was the buffet. Sometimes looong wait for water/drinks when eating, like 15 minutes! Loved the cats- but be aware there are 5-6 of them playing around the hotel, sleeping in chairs etc, one friendly (orange/white/black) another not (dark grey). Amazing yoga class, fun water gymnastics, dart and bingo. Loved the big jacuzzi, my massage however was done by a not professional Terapeut- even though one pay 80 Euro for 80 min. Very good wifi in my room in building 5, but varied I understood.
