"For the money, ESH is a great deal. Very upscale, quiet, and the entire staff will accommodate every need or request at all times. It’s not on the coast, but rather up the hill about 5 minutes from town and the beach. Town is a happening place whereas ESH is simply peaceful. Best of both worlds. "

"The place is only a couple minute walk to Samara Beach and about a 4 minute drive to Carillo Beach. Both are fantastic! The staff here are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help you select some great adventures without getting ripped off. The food is top notch (and reasonably priced). "This place was the cherry on top for our Costa Rican adventure. It was a perfect place to end our trip since it was the nicest hotel we stayed at and they had ALL the amenities and the location was ideal. The food at the restaurant was delicious as well. I cannot wait to go back!"

"Perfect location directly on the beach, quiet. Warm pool. A hundred yards from a great restaurant, 10 minutes on the beach to walk to downtown. Breakfast was basic (3 choices). wifi only worked in the breakfast area (has a great view). Friendly personal, they let us check in early. Book an A/C room! Basic room but clean and spacious. Met lots of really interesting guests! Would come again!"
