"Owners were wonderful from the time of booking. Sent a tuk tuk to pick us up from the bus station. Greeted us on arrival with some drinks and great conversation. Rooms are very nicely decorated. Beds are extremely comfortable, big flat screen tv with tons of internet channels, bathroom is large and bright, stocked fridge with tea/coffee maker and large wardrobe for your belongings. Delicious breakfast is made to order and the owner is a great cook. I highly recommend this guest house for any...

"Absolutely appalling experience! The hotel prioritized an event, booking every room except ours. The event overtook the pool area with blaring music and screaming girls for over 5 hours, making it unusable. To make matters worse, we discovered uncleaned feces behind the toilet in our room and rats scurrying around the main pool area. Despite our complaints to the staff, the noise was unbearable, even on the top floor, drowning out the TV. We were forced to leave the resort and spend hours...

"Spent two nights with my wife, the hotel in general was ok. We like the bungalows and each bungalow has its privacy. Two recommendations to the hotel: breakfast can start earlier (630 instead of 700 as many travel early morning) and better to install bednets in the room. Apart from that, Otres 1 is a great place! We love the beach."
